Signs Your Main Water Line Is Failing
A water line is out of sight until it isn't. These are the signs it's time to look.
A Wet Spot in the Yard That Won't Dry
Soggy ground, a sunken strip or grass that's greener along one line, with no rain to explain it, can be water from a leaking service line.
The Water Bill Jumped
Same household, same habits, higher bill. Water you're paying for is going somewhere you can't see.
Low Pressure in the Whole House
Weak water at every tap at once can come from a leaking or crushed main line, not the fixtures.
Rusty or Dirty Water
Discolored water can point to an old, corroding line, especially in older homes.
No Water at All
A break can drop your supply to nothing. Call now.
Repair the Break or Run a New Line
Clog Heroes repairs and replaces main water lines, including new runs from the county meter at the road to the house. A single break in a sound line is a repair. An old line with more than one failure, or the wrong material, is usually a replacement. Your technician tells you which, and why, before anything is dug up.
Fix the Break
Water Line Repair
The leak is found, the ground is opened at that spot, and the damaged section is cut out and replaced. The line is tested under pressure before the trench is backfilled.
New Line to the House
Water Line Replacement
A new service line is laid in a trench from the meter or well to where the water enters the house, connected at both ends and tested before backfill.

What Customers Said About Water Line Repair & Replacement
Google reviews that mention this job, quoted word for word.
I was referred to this company through the Stafford Talk Facebook page and I’m really glad I called them. My well has been struggling due to the severe drought in our area, so I needed Stafford County water run from the county meter at the road to my home. Austin came out while it was still icy, took measurements, and had a quote back to me the same day. He offered a reasonable military discount and very fair pricing. We had received other quotes ranging from $5,000 to $16,000, some missing necessary work and others trying to run copper the entire distance from the road to the house (which would have been extremely expensive). Austin gave a straightforward, honest quote that beat the competition. There was about a week delay due to snow and permitting, which was understandable and not their fault. Once everything was approved, they completed the job quickly. Communication was great the entire time with clear updates and follow-ups. What stood out the most was the pride the plumber took in his work under the house. The piping was installed very cleanly and neatly, clearly done with long-term durability in mind. Highly recommend!
Ryan came on time to do a 4 hour job. He was moving the main water valve so it was accessible in case I needed to turn off the water in the house. It was originally located behind the dryer. He did a thorough job and communicated everything he was doing to me and answered all my questions.
