Clog Heroes, Your Lake of the Woods Plumber Behind the Gate Off Route 3

Clog Heroes serves Lake of the Woods, Orange County, for plumbing, drains and sewer lines. Lake of the Woods covers roughly 2,600 acres behind its gate, with about 4,260 lots and more than 41 miles of private paved roads. Route 3 is how the rest of the world gets in.

Clog Heroes looks after plumbing, drains and sewer lines in Lake of the Woods homes. The technician at your door is licensed and background-checked. Before any work, they hand you a written price to approve.

A 500-Acre Lake, Eight Beaches and Two Marinas

The Main Lake runs 500 acres, from 2 feet deep at the edges to 45 in the middle. Keaton's Lake is the quiet one: 35 acres and about 7 feet deep.

Around that water you'll find two marinas, seven lake access areas and eight sand beaches. Not bad for a Saturday you never have to drive anywhere for.

And when the curtain goes up at the Community Center, it's Four County Players on stage. They're Central Virginia's oldest continuously operating community theater, with a spring show and a fall show every year.

Built Since 1967, Mostly in the Last 30 Years

Virginia Wildlife Clubs started Lake of the Woods in 1967. Boise Cascade developed it after that, and the Lake of the Woods Association took over the common areas in 1972.

Most of the houses came later. The median home here was built in 1995, and only about 18 percent of the 3,911 housing units are older than 1980.

Your water and sewer come from the Rapidan Service Authority, which serves Lake of the Woods, Wilderness Shores, Somerset Farms and the Route 3 corridor. Its plant here treats up to 1.6 million gallons of Rapidan River water a day, and the wastewater plant is rated at 2.0 million.
